I have always been passionate about helping people work towards optimal wellness by exploring their concerns and using a goal-directed approach. I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ryerson University and a master’s degree in health from York University, where I specialized in sociocultural studies of chronic illness, and women’s experiences with cancer and therapeutic yoga.
My interest in mental and physical health come together to help me understand the importance in creating life balance and practicing regular self-care. Over the past nine years I have had the pleasure to work with youth, university students, athletes, new parents, families, and those with seriously ill children. I look forward to working with you individually as you navigate working through stressful life experiences and transitions.
I can help you learn new ways to cope, get back on track and build the life you deserve. I will provide you with a safe and non-judgemental space to explore what you need to. Some concerns I can help you with include anxiety, stress, chronic illness, depression, self-esteem, grief and bereavement, relationships and issues related to being a new parent.
I take an integrative approach and am drawn to mindfulness-based techniques, cognitive-behavioural, emotion-focused, solution-focused, acceptance and commitment and narrative therapies. Together, we will find the best fit for your needs.
Currently sessions are offered only through secure online platform and telephone.
I look forward to supporting you!
