Amy Capern is a caring, kind and experienced therapist. Her non-judgemental approach aims to strengthen you to explore yourself in a safe, confidential and supportive environment. In this setting you will be encouraged to be curious about your feelings, beliefs, behaviours, values and relational patterns with self and others.

She helps her clients to understand and embrace their experiences and to live more fully by pursuing achievable action in everyday life.
Amy welcomes all clients seeking personal understanding, support and change in their lives. She recognizes that happiness is not about disconnecting from the struggle but in embracing all emotions, accepting and acknowledging what is present and building personal resources to cope, adjust and build a life of meaning through valued daily actions. Amy works with others to help them identify their personal values and how to live in alignment with those values.
Amy recognizes that grief and loss take many forms and she will compassionately support clients through their change process. Amy will offer skills to increase her clients' self-compassion and self-awareness, while exploring questions like, "What is important to you?" and "What do you want your life to be about?".
